Scifi-drama movies are beginning to be one of my favorite movie genre, I loooved Ex-Machina, I thought it was such a great story and very well done. I feel the same way about this film Z for Zachariah. The movie takes place during a post apocalyptic world, where man-kind has been depleted and the world is unlivable except for this little area in the suburbs were the air is breathable and a girl named Ann (Margot Robbie) lives alone in her family farm. She believes she is the last person left on earth until one day a man Loomis (Chiwetel Ejiofor) stops by and they begin working together to grow food, find electricity, and get to learn and grow love for one another. As weeks passed by another man named Caleb (Chris Pine) came into the picture and created tension between the three. The movie turned into a love triangle with a great twist ending. Margot Robbie and Chiwetel Ejiofor did not dissapoint in this film, they brought a lot of emotion to the film, they are great actors and had great chemistry. The film however did lack on the reasoning of why everyone in the world got sick and why this little place is safe, I guess that was left to the viewers imagination. This is definitely a movie I will be watching again in the near future. The story was great and definetly left you thinking and wanting more.
