1. Visit Balboa Park After Dark

When: Fridays, May 27- September 2
Where: Balboa Park
On Fridays this summer balboa Park museums will have extended hours plus live entertainment and food trucks throughout the Park on select dates. A total of ten museum will be participating in the extended hours. Some of the museums participating will be the Ruben H Fleet Science Center, San Diego Museum of Art, The NAT, and San Diego Museum of Man.

2. Watch a Summer Movie in the Park

When: May 27 – October 29
Where: Several County and City parks
Enjoy a free and safe movie at your neighborhood park through San Diego County.
All movies are family friendly and start at 8pm.

3. Visit the annual San Diego County Fair

When: June 3 though July 4, hours vary daily
Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds

The largest San Diego annual event is back and this years theme is “Mad about the Fair”. From one of a kind concerts, rides, carnival games, daily festivals, exhibitions, mad tea party, and of course food you will never want to leave all of the fun!

4. Catch the Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival

When: July 15-16, 2016
Where: Pier Plaza
10 Evergreen Avenue
This two day celebration will involve a sandcastle competition, live music, kids activities, food, and farmers market. You can also enjoy one if San Diego beautiful beaches.

5. Head to 2016 San Diego Comic Con International

When: July 21- 24, 2016
Where: San Diego Convention Center
This is one of the hottest tickets in town! Everything that is new in comics and pop culture will be at the San Diego Comic Con. Even without tickets locals can participate in tons of activities outside the convention. Celebrity meet & greets, rides, free movie screening, live tapings, free swag, cosplaying, people watching, and much more can be done outside the convention center. 6. Browse the Hillcrest CityFest

When: August 14, 2016
Where: Hillcrest District
3910 5th Avenue
This annual Block party gets larger every year! Djs, live music, beer garden, local business, and over 200 artisans will be at this street fair.

7. Don’t miss KAABOO Del Mar
