Aside from the amazing films the 25th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival there is also a Food Festival as a part of the event. This is their 3rd year showcasing unlimited tastings from restaurants, wineries, and breweries from Southern California and Baja California. I did not participate in any of the alcohol tastings, however all of the food booths were simply amazing! The next couple of the booths were sooooo yummy they stood out to me more than all of the others.
Chef Stevan Novoa had my #1 booth he had some just amazing tender beef on a beautiful presented plate. His business is called NV Personal Dining and you can find more information by clicking HERE
King and Queen Cantina had their chef Jorge Cueva making some delicious tacos! These were my absolute favorite tacos at the event they were beautiful delicious and just perfect! King and Queen Cantina is located in Little Italy San Diego, you can find their website by clicking HERE
During the tastings they also had a best chef competition, silent auction, and live music. Overall the event was great and it turned out to be a fun day! I definitely recommend it for future years. I love that it is located right in the center of Fashion Valley Mall which makes it easy to catch a film before or after the event. Remember there is still time to support the film festival, you can purchase your tickets in advance by visiting The San Diego Latino Film Festival Schedule by clicking HERE.
