Had a chance to visit Theatre Box San Diego on their soft opening and had a great time! San Diego Gaslamp now has a bit of Hollywood with a luxury TLC Chinese Theatre and a Sugar Factory shop and restaurant.

As soon as you walk in you are in the Sugar Factory Candy store filled with sweets, drinks, photo ops, and souvenirs.. Their restaurant is beautiful and their menu options look great! I plan to visit soon but decided to try the dine-in theatre this visit.

We purchased our tickets at the box office, they are still working on online ticketing but you can view next day showtimes on Fandango or by calling them directly. The luxury theatre is very nice with leather recliner seats & love seats. We watched The Grinch movie.. the image and sound quality were great! Tickets were around $12 per seat.

The dine-in menu was large.. from salads, appetizers, alcohol, burgers.. there was soo much to choose from. I ordered the burger unfortunately it was too dark for a photo, but it was delicious for sure! The service was also very nice and attentive.. there were a couple of bumps here and there but giving it was there opening night I think they did great overall!

I recommend all locals to check it out! I know ill be headed back very soon.
