I had the amazing opportunity to attend RISE Festival at the Mojave Desert last weekend. This was my first time attending this event and had a spectacular time. At this event you are given the chance of releasing a large paper lantern that have personal hopes, dreams, prayers, etc. written on them. The magical moment was when thousands of lanterns were released and they lit up the dark night sky. Everyone at the event was there for many different reasons but everyone left with the beautiful memory of a wonderful night. Below are some pictures of my experience at the event, it is a night I will never forget.
